window to the soul.
I love that if you look close enough (at full size) I am reflected in Ellie's eyes...this is an old one I just now got around to finding/editing. I took these for her four month pictures.

fungus (among us)
With all the rain my parents have had this past month (well over 12 inches), it was no surprise to find so many fungi hanging out in the woods.
The third picture is the creepiest to me(those are called Indian pipes, because well, they look like Indian pipes). I had never seen those before...and had to practically lay down in the mud to take that picture, they aren't very big at all!)

trains. sneak peek.
These abandoned (sort of- they're waiting to be scrapped) passenger cars are parked near my hometown, my brother and I went out to take a few pictures.
My favorite part was the broken out windows reflecting the color from the surrounding woods.
And that's all for tonight- because blogger lost my upload of the other 10 or more train pictures :( Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance to upload them (again!).09 October 2009
father and son.
found this little gem, hidden and forgotten about.
could be my most favorite picture of my husband and son.
what a fun surprise!
*when I blog from flickr for whatever reason- it resizes pictures, be sure to click on the picture to see the real version!*

boys will be boys.
This picture just about sums up my son... Usually covered in dirt and saying Wow about some creature or another that he has found (a grub in this case).

white balance gone bad.
I think I salvaged it into a pretty okay picture, but my white balance was still set to florescent from taking pictures inside Build a Bear. The sky was grey anyways, but it took forever to get skin tones to not look purple. Grr to not checking the shot before moving on!!

favorite things.
Gromit really is my most photogenic model. He just seems to love having his picture taken. Here he was trying to get me to throw the ball for him. again.
Okay Okay...I'll throw the ball!
Yay!
I'm going to work on panning shots with Gromit this weekend hopefully- no luck yet with figuring it out.
